Peace with a classic guitar and two German Shepherds

Thursday was a day most people in my shoes may love. When you think of a peaceful sunny afternoon, in a homely house that is more than adequate to comfort your soul, well, thank God, I was there. Life in a home like mine is good when you understand how to co-create happiness and joy. For me, I am blissfully entertained by two German Shepherds and truely, it is the love that you attach to the German Shepherd that will bountifully return to bless you. I cared for my two lovely German Shepherd, and that was simply true. Well, sometimes, I played my guitar, with a selection of wise love songs and that, after some guitar proficiency, is a gem to the soul, and soothing to the heart. People mention that music is healing, and I think music is proactive in healing and entertaining too.

I also spent time on my project, a script for a Korean Love Series, that is rewarding in the process. This makes my understanding of human love more mature. On the meanwhile, I hope for peace, love and order to be on our Earth, and a good media contribution is one method I can peacefully and purposefully help.

The highlight of the day is when I decided to play music to entertain my two German Shepherd. Well, Hiro, my German Shepherd smiled in his way after I played my guitar to him, and was patient in the hope that Hiro understands this love.

Discernment

On a personal note, I feel everytime when I enter a crowded place, where there are many different people and many different voices heard, one of the best method is to focus on your own task and responsibilities is to discern the voices. Most of the time, the voices heard are not directed at you, for the strangers do not know you, and they are only talking to people they know. Well, when a person discern, a person will not take things personally, for other people's own issues does not concern you, therefore, one can live in peace. Some of the time, the meaning the stranger try to convey to a friend may have a different meaning context to you, and to me, a person may as well recollect his or her thoughts and carry on life as usual than listen to people whose voices have meaning not intended to you. Strangers may speak about good things, though a person easily understands their praises is not intended towards you. This is indeed an advice for introvert who sometimes pays attention to the voices for stimuli to the self, while an extrovert naturally discern that the voices is meant to someone else and understand the environmental picture.

On a different note, I learnt a new song from my guitar teacher, named "Close to You", by the Carpenters. This song has the nostalgic feel of being close to one's father, and therefore, I feel I want to play this song for my father one day. Performancing for others is indeed a joy and an accomplishment compared to performancing for oneself, which to me, is more of positive construction and personal healing and peace.

Health and wealth

There is this issue on health and wealth that many people come across in their lifestyle. For me, I always believe that health is more important than material wealth. If a person understand the concept of health and wealth, a vital truth is that body health is actually the wealth of the body. For me, I comprehend that health is about a good and strong development or trend of a body or circumstances, while wealth is about positive abundance of something desireable. Therefore, when we have health, we normally come with some form of wealth at the same time, as both are synergically correlated. A person who loves his body eats a proper meal, exercise regularly and rest well. Over a nurturing period of time, the body will be developed revitalizing to the person and this is a signal of health and wealth.
In society, there are healthy family, wealthy family and family that are both healthy and wealthy. Healthy family is full of well-synergized love, while wealthy family is full of the commodity of love, while the family that is both healthy and wealthy is the ideal family. Well, to my experiences, for a happy and joyful life, a healthy family is more stable and long-lasting than a wealthy family, and health should be the fundamental before wealth.
Yesterday, after a supportive meeting with a group of friends, of whom one of them came home from overseas, I took a cab to drive me home as I need the rest. My friend, Desmond Lee, behaved like a gentleman, and he accompanied me to the taxi and told the taxi driver to bring me home safely for I feel drowsy after taking my medication. On the ride home, both the taxi driver and me talked about a few wise and constructive words of wisdom. I realised from my point of view that I am contributing to his monetary wealth, while he is contributing to my body health. This is a truly blessful situation. I slept well last night.

Charity with children

Children are our future; the hope of the nation and the future of our country. We should cherish our children, and invest in them for an altruistic cause. I believe that children are one of our greatest assets, and to shower graceful love to our children is indeed a great pleasure. While I understand that having children is an issue of couples having enough love, maturity and money, most of us probably continue to develop our self and assist our family in love. Well, from the viewpoint of a teacher, every child is precious and should be nurtured to fulfil his or her potential as good contributors to society. A pastor understands that each child is a gift from God, and should be taught love values for their character development. I am confident that every parents love their children and will give them the best love and guidance that could be afforded.

For me, while I am contemplating having children well into my thirties, I feel I can always contribute to childcare as early as now, when I am still in university. An inspiration touch my mind and my heartened self felt the joy of nurturing children for charity. I love all children, and I understood the children at Melrose Children Home, a place I love to be affiliated to, needs special care, therefore I render my service to them as best as I can.

Yesterday was special. I prayed to God for strength and wisdom to teach the children a game of scrabble constructively and conducively. I understand the need to be flexible as water, as well as be a nurturing senior to the children. I explained the ground rules for their benefit(basic game rule as well as only good words allowed), and I understand the need to introduce Scrabble to them in a soft and purposeful manner. Cooperation and friendliness is well-encouraged. I hope to build good english foundation for children and at the same time, give them a candle of hope for their future. Sometimes, I have to mention about courtesy and well-mannerism to the children for their character development. Once in a while, I share some words of wisdom with the children for their future, like forgiveness, gratitude and graciousness.

Being with children and doing charity is truly a joyous experience for me, and I understood the words of Jesus Christ, that being a servant leader is a rewarding experience.

A business dialogue

Through my Mum's favour, I met up with a young handsome man with an entrepreneur spirit. He is inspirational, and through the meeting, I understand that he is for me. Well, our business ethics are similar, as we both agree on the fundamentals of the business for good practice. This makes him a joyful business friend. Well, at this moment, I am not too sure about a partnership yet, as I love to maintain freedom and to open my windows to more opportunities. I describe my friend as a person who has inspirational dreams and believes that his dream can be realised for a joyous life.
A business talk is truly a humbling experience. I am new to a business talk, and therefore, I need to understand the goodness of watching for opportunity and cooperating courteously as much as possible. I understand that channeling the energy to create changes of success and furthering both parties' purpose in the light of the greater good is a step forward in the direction of business advancement. At the same time, the emotions of the other party should be well taken care of, to ensure a peaceable and cordial business time. A good venue helps in this process.

Align with order

I trust that human learns about the beauty of life everyday. I trust that God gives us our daily bread, and we may cherish our experiences with joy. Today, I understand about the wisdom of alignment with order. This facilitates a peace of mind for an organized life, that allows more task to be accomplished for efficiency and effectiveness. An orderly life is also more serene, smooth-flowing and requires less effort to keep up.

An example of alignment with order is an experience I have today that I take care of with the help of my loving mother. We went to Cecil Street to renew the insurance of the car. As this issue is new to me, I look up to my mother and respectfully learn from her. At the same time, I try my best to support her courteously. The man who helped us gave me a 99 days extension, and this aligned my insurance to my road tax. With the timing in order, I can align both responsibilities to a dedicated day for renewal. This is also good for time management. I can focus my energy to maintain the car road tax, insurance as well as servicing on the same day, allowing other days to be freed for joyful and purposeful task.

On the way home, I realised from the viewpoint of love, the importance to show concern wisely for my mother. I decided to go home by public transport while my mother may use the car to travel to work to save her precious time.

Doing charity with wisdom

My mum once shared with me, that doing charity is a joy. Doing good to anyone you see, helping people around you is a form of charity. A contribution to charity fills a person with goodness, and develops his heart and virtues as a man. This is bliss and bliss is gold. There are three types of charity, being with a person to uplift him or her, doing voluntary work as a form of gratitude for the community and giving money to contribute to a worthwhile cause. All these promotes world peace. Today, I helped a person in need. Here I learnt something holistic. I remember once a principal with a golden heart assist me when I am in need. Now, as a friend who value her time and effort, I returned the favour by helping a acquantance of hers, and this builds our trust as friends.
I realised as I meet new people, I constantly have to uphold my integrity, and this is where I love my family upbringing and values. I feel well and full of gratitude for my heritage, the values I have learnt as a Singaporean and as a Chinese. This gives me the base to build my love and virtues upon. Thank God for this. Thank Jesus Christ for uplifting my moral standards as I am touched by his love, compassion. Jesus Christ has the perfect track record of a human being when he is on Earth, and this, with his holy and charitable heart, easily allows one to look up as him for guidance.

A golden dragonfly in my garden

Today, I am enjoying life in my garden, and God gave me a wonderful gift. By nature's beauty, a golden dragonfly flew into my garden, and I experienced a feel of exuberance. This golden dragonfly is coming by in peace and grace, fluttering gently above the ground, at about my eye level, and the feel of a golden dragonfly in a garden of flowers and trees is truly a joyous feeling. I notice this golden dragonfly flying up in a gradual pace, then glide down with the wings outstretched. At some moments, the ray of sunlight shine blissfully on the wings of the dragonfly and reflect the light with a glittering effect. Slightly behind this golden dragonfly is Hero, my German Shepherd. He posed gallantly, and a German Shepherd is at his finest form when he is in the garden. Nature truly has a way to showcase true beauty, and I am gratified that I may enjoy my garden in my youth. While a garden in the day is a blend of harmonious and lively colour, the garden at night is a peaceful and serene feel, and Chinese would love to see the full moon from the comforts of their garden.

On another note, I am now reading a physics book and this book is about cars. I learnt about the torque of the car giving each wheel a different contribution of the weight, and this when in acceleration, keeps the car straight, as the car steering wheel is less sensitive to turns. Indeed, science is working well with us for our benefit. Cheers.

The grace of the body and mind

Please love your body with joy and compassion, for the body is entrusted by God's grace to us for well-being and maintenance. When we love the body truthfully, we love ourselves and cherish the blessings from our creator. When we eat a proper meal, exercise with faith and respect our body cleanliness and hygiene, we truly understand the love of self at a physical level. The science of health and the faithfulness safeguarding of body holiness can blend in a peaceful harmony for the longevity and purity of peace for the body. When we service the body with grace, the body reward us in kind, and we feel the enlightenment of the mind and a joy of peace that permeates our soul.
I did some graceful uplifting of weights in joy, for a major body exercise. When we uplift weights gracefully and rhythmically, the feeling of upliftment in tender grace soothes the body and mind in a lovely feel of energy flowing positively in harmony. The gentle buildup of the self is a blessfully joyous and earnest experience. Our body form is a glory to God, for every muscle fibre beautiful designed by nature to glorify creation. Wisdom is found from the foundation of love to embrace beauty and virtues.
Harmonious form can be found in the grace of swimming, the chinese art of tai chi which harmoniously blend movement with beauty and the uplifting of the soul and spirit. Man and nature have their serene virtues, and we respect and flow with the life of goodness to enrich Earth as an ethereal jewel.

A lovely trip to assist my mum for her endeavours

I have always understand that all mum loves their children, and this wisdom comes from young. There is this song, that mentions "Shi Shang Suo You Ma Ma Hao", which means all mum are good. Well, at a young age, I understand I am constantly under my mum's care, and as I grow older, I begun to think that we should love our mum more, and be a caregiver to her as much as possible. Today, God gave me this chance. When my mum return home, she asked me to send her to Loyang Rise, to be her driver as she enjoys a leisure ride to collect money from the bank. Well, this is a simple thing to do, though the fact that she asked for my help made me joyful. The trip was pleasant and I learnts how to do a U turn to go back to the driveway again. On the way home, my mum had a thoughtful idea, that is when we walk the German Shepherds in pairs, a person can go to the petrol kiosk to buy some refreshment, while letting the other person have control of the German Shepherds. Both may enjoy the energizing effect of a drink while with the company of two lovely dogs. This is my type of joy.

Math is amazing. The number we know, the decimal system is beautiful and God is truly wise, giving us 10 types of numerials, and with this, all our calculation is catered for, and there are so many beautiful relationships using the simple arithmatics. Great!

Man and theology

All man must be humble before God, and glorify God for the gratitude of life. We came to Earth and we inherit freedom of choice, though every man have to follow God's law. My father told me this morning about this, that man is given the freedom to choose his life, though he has to follow the law God set before him. As natural as the science behind the growth of a flower and the wilting of the flower to fertilize the soil, may the flow of life continue in resplendant beauty. Life is defined when there is a law that governs life, for life's flourishment to beautify creation. Choose wisely and love, joy and peace shall be with you.
Today, I have a walk home with my brother, and I enjoy the greeneries and flowers of Singapore. Truly, I enjoy the feel of peace, the fresh air and the companionship of a person whom God have entrusted to me for life. We may not be perfect, that is why we are on Earth, though if we follow the wisdom of Earth that God has entrusts to us, we will grow and be lovier, to fulfil his eternal purpose. My friend, I believe all who do good are safe, and there are many pathways to see the light of God's magnificent beauty, and heaven comes, like a place, in one's heart.

To forgive is divine, to love is human

On Wednesday, I recalled one of my favourite verses, and that is "To forgive is divine, to love is human". Love is a wonderful creation of God, and God forgive(giving a gift) us with love. Therefore, to honour God with our life, we should love one another. As Jesus Christ have said, "Love your lord, your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength and all your mind, and love your neighbour as yourself." This is a fundamental truth in life. Love is forever. There is one Russian poet whom I admire and appreciate truly for his fine piece of literary art.

He is a naturalist, and he welcome the whole world and its beauty with praises in word and soul. Indeed, to view the world with love is a wonderful service to yourself. This is God's greatest gift to man, the ability to love. A human who love is light-hearted, and life each day is like a breeze in the park. This can be the beginning of our eternity in the light of love.
