Virtues are crowns to acquire in a person life, and like cloth, virtues gives a modest protection and beauty. I feel five important virtues are love, peace, magnanimousity, generousity and truthfulness.
Love is about caring and concern for your loved ones, and is about providing for people's needs. In the world, I feel your parents love you the most, and they are the ones that give you most of your needs and nourish your soul. Love among friends is like an extension of the family and this is cherished for the extra support and opportunity that friends may offer that is complementary to family love.
Peace is about being at ease with others, and showing a sense of gracious bonding with your neighbours. A peaceful society is well-esteemed, for the development of wealth and affluence can emerge from the ability to understand the finer joy of life. Peace is fundamental both for self growth and for societial cohesion.
Magnanimousity is about the understanding of a kind, forgiving and charitable heart. Often, there are differences, and sometimes, there are times where a good deed may save the day and the continuation of a friendship. In these times, I feel magnanimousity is the common virtue of the rich, and to add this virtue is like having a winning personality magnet for love and joy.
Generousity is about giving and sharing, and often, we need to think about our friends, who may be less fortunate than us, and for this, we need to consider the grace that each individual is blessed differently and through ample sharing, each can have a share of various blessings. At the same time, the less fortunate in our community do need more attention, and we give them a share of our blessing portion just as a token of humanistic care.
Truthfulness is about telling the truth, living the truth, and having faith in others and in God. For reality is based on truth, I feel the meaning of life is worth the endeavor only if we are based on truth, and treat each other in truth. Family bonding and interaction is based on truthful and bridging soul interaction, and a couple have to remain truthfulness for their lifespan. Society rewards truth, and love is of the truth.
Now, when we have the five virtues, think about this: that there are five fingers on a man's hand, and if each finger represents a virtue, then each greeting, and goodbye is a reminder of the five virtues. Now, we shall always gives thumbs up to love.
